Happy 1st Birthday Charity!!!

The year has come and gone FAST! Charity turned one, can you believe it?! We still can't. Here are some pics and clips of her birthday party. She seemed to really enjoy her self, and got really good at opening presents (although she didn't really care for her presents being taken away just to open a new one :) ). Thank you to everyone who came, helped out, and or gave a gift. We're still trying to find a place to put all her new toys. Charity has lots of fun with them.

Before.
During.
After.
All of the kids seemed to have tons of fun playing. Charity's grandma made a big teepee to which was added a couple of tunnels and a tent. There were also balls and blocks, and all sorts of toys from her birthday that every kid (no matter what age) enjoyed.

Kody like to pretend that he was taking pictures of all the action too. He made his own camera out of foam blocks. Charity had lots of good helpers to help her gift unwrapping job easier.

Thanks for the ribbon, whoever sent it! Charity really enjoyed it. ;)

Miss Charity

Some people have been asking what to get Charity for her birthday so we thought we'd just list some suggestions here. The best thing to get would simply be money towards her college fund. Other than that she could use clothes (size 12+), shoes (size 3+), developmental toys, board books, and she likes stuffed animals too. Please avoid noisy and obnoxious toys (or we'll get 'em for your kids later).

Charity Meets Santa

Charity met Santa Claus for the first time. We were at a church Christmas party and they had a whole set up for Santa. The kids lined up and we tried to let her watch him a bit before hand, but he was hard to see behind some of the bigger kids.
At first she did fine and I got a picture, but before I could take another she looked up to the face of the person's lap she was sitting on and totally freaked out. I wish I could have gotten her scream on camera! We were really surprised by her reaction because she loved the people in costumes at Six Flags. Weird.

Below is Charity giving Santa a dirty look for scaring her.
She does not like Santa, but she does like Santa's Elf (which happens to be our neighbor).
