Oh Gally, She's Grown!

As I can't sleep in for some reason this morning I decided to play around on my computer, since anything else might wake up Charity. I took a look at her blog and many of the older posts, pics, and videos. All I can say now is, "Holy cow! Charity is not that little any more". Just looking at her Rollie-Pollie video, with her first rolling over--wow, she's come a long way. There have been (and continue to be) so many milestones I'm glad I haven't missed. Charity is such a talk-talker now, it's crazy to go back and listen to her true baby babble or her first word.

We love Charity and are enjoying every minute of her life and of her in our lives!

Easter is Cool!

Charity loved Easter this year. (Last year she loved naps and bottles and could care less if it was a holiday.) She was surprised to find the basket of toys, eggs, and goodies the Easter Bunny left for her. She loved playing with her aunts and uncles as everyone celebrated Easter and watched General Conference together. They were playing with legos and making some pretty cool things, Charity likes to play along and tease them when she could.

I want my babyback ribs!

Miss Charity got to eat ribs for the first time. She really seemed to enjoy them. They were as messy as could be expected.

New Word!

Lately, Charity's been practicing saying "Momma", probably because she knows she can get nearly anything out of me when she says it. But this week she's got a new one. She's been spending sometime at her grandma's while Lee and I have been training to be ombudsmen. Her uncle Glenn has been trying the whole time to get her to say his name. It was not his intention, but we'll call it his fault for her new word, which was not his name. Charity heard him yell at the dog, and then of course repeated it. "Shut-up." It only took once.

Baby, you make me smile.

Sweat'n to the Oldies, Mousersize, whatever you want to call it, it was cute and she had fun.

Dancing with Grandpa Bratt at Caleb & Annette's wedding.

Need a good laugh?

Rosy Cheek Boutique

Here is Charity in one of the skirts and bow that I make for Rosy Cheek Boutique. This set she gets to keep. It's my favorite skirt. It'll be cute for Easter too.

Kati Cupcake

Charity had fun today visiting a quilt shop/baby boutique. It was interesting to see all the infant clothes that Charity is now too big for. She is officially a toddler. The main pieces of the quilt shop are Kati Cupcake (the owner's own designs). We plan to make some of the little girl clothes patterns for Charity in the near future.

Kati Cupcake is having a give-a-way right now for her new line of fabric. Check it out: http://katicupcakequiltingco.blogspot.com

PS. That's not Charity above, just a pic of one of the Kati Cupcake Patterns I want to make for her.
