One Month Old

A Note from Mommy

Little Charity is growing so fast. Monday she weighed 8 lbs 13 ozs and measured at 21 inches long. Haha this was her weight just before she peed all over me. She's grown out of many of her newborn sized clothes, but is still in an "in between" stage of fitting in her 0-3 months. She went to church for the first time this Sunday and slept though sacrament meeting (luckly girl, j/k). This next weekend she'll get her picture taken and be named and blessed. We got a cute dress and accessories that I hope will become an heirloom she'll cherish later in life.
She is the love of our lives and is so special to Lee and me. She has us wrapped around her little finger and heart. Our lives have been turned upside-down and our home turned baby pink for this tiny little person. We are daily gaining new experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.
Charity is the sweetest little girl. She has the most adorable giggle. She loves to be bundled in a cocoon of warm blankets and daddy's arms. She tucks her hands under her chin like a bunny. She coo's like a baby koala bear. She wakes slowly like a tortoise. She eats like a chipmunk. She's got a belly like a frog.

3 Weeks Old!

I sure am growing fast. At my last check up I weighed 8lbs 2oz. I am getting big! Mommy and Daddy say I continue to be a very sweet baby. I love to cuddle with Mommy and Daddy.

Daddy likes to put me in my swing. This is where he caught me sleeping.

I'm not really holding my own bottle yet, Mommy is helping me. But I am learning lots everyday.

All tucked in for tummy time. Under me is the quilt that Mommy and Daddy started, and that Great Grandpa and Grandma McCain finished for me. On me is the blanket that Mommy made for me while I was in her belly.
